The Franklin Revolver and Rifle Association is a private gun club and range located just off RT 23 in Franklin Borough, New Jersey.
The club was founded in 1911 by a group of 6 men known as the 'Boro Boys'. The original range was located between Route 23 and the Franklin pond and was nothing more than targets and a few posts in the ground to locate shooting positions.
Around 1929 the original clubhouse was constructed in its present day location at the southeast corner of Buckwheat road and Franklin Ave. Over the years the range has been built upon and improved. The range now has 24 covered firing positions, and a heated clubhouse. The club annually hosts matches and activities including classes on gun safety and target shooting that is open to the public and is lent to the Franklin Police Department for officer target practice.
Our club has grown and come a long way since 1911, but we're confident the 'Boro Boys' would be proud of what we've done and accomplished along the way.
An event overview of the entire year can be downloaded and viewed HERE
